QNET Distributors Celebrate Diwali by Raising Money for Underprivileged Community in 17 Cities

Anyone who knows QNet well enough knows that the concept of RYTHM (Raise Yourself to Help Mankind) is at the heart of everything we do. And while we as a company do whatever we can to give back to our communities as responsible corporate citizens, it fills us with pride to know that our IDs have also taken the message of RYTHM to their heart.

During the recent festive season, around 100 young entrepreneurs from the QNet Community, from Team Infiniti decided to celebrate Diwali with a difference. They came together nationwide to raise money for less privileged communities around the country. In a series of 24 events spanning 17 cities, these generous young people raised between INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakhs per city towards an important cause benefiting a local community in need. This is the third year this group from Team Infiniti is initiating such an exercise during the festival season to reinforce their commitment to helping their communities.

The group planned and executed charitable initiatives in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Patna, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Jammu and Meerut between Oct 6 to Oct 18.

Funds raised by the group were used to help orphanages, old age homes, home for the disabled, and children in need of life-saving medical treatment. The first initiative on Oct 6 was launched in Mumbai at the Jupiter Lifeline Hospital where they sponsored heart surgery for 5 children from low-income families. The initiatives in Delhi involved providing school supplies to 95 children in a local slum community and sponsoring toiletries, hygiene items, stationery, clothing and blankets for 125 children at a home for abandoned and runaway children.

In Bangalore, the group donated brand new washing machines, refrigerators, LED bulbs, emergency LED lanterns, adult diapers, cooking provision and household cleaning items to ‘Ashraya Seva Trust’, an NGO providing shelter and basic amenities to elderly women and children. In Jammu, they donated cooking provisions and warm clothes to 127 children at the Ved Mandir Bal Niketan.

Many other similar initiatives were organized in the other cities leading up to Diwali day.

We are truly touched by this initiative. The effort put in by the IDs in their individual capacity is truly encouraging. QNet’s underlying philosophy of RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind is the force that drives a lot of what we do. It is a reflection of our business, which is about empowering people to take control of their lives so that they can in turn help empower their communities. After all, there is no better feeling than doing well while you are doing good.
